Independent Trading Company black sweatshirt, with a quilt block featuring block printed motifs. Quilt block is made with hand dyed cottons in blush, deeper red/blush, and an ochre yellow. It features a block printed moth in the centre square, floral blocks surrounding it, and some starburst motifs in the outer and inner corners, in black ink. Outside edge has a black mmachine stitched border, as well as the centre square. Block is a 10” square. It is tough to photograph black sweatshirts, but truest colors of the block is the close up with the white paper for hue balance.

CARE: basically, the less washing, heat & agitation you use, the longer the stamped portion will remain its starkest. though it is permanent fabric ink, it may fade slightly overtime - as with any painted or screenprinted items. machine wash inside out, with like colors, avoid high heat. hang dry recommended, or tumble dry low heat if you must. do not iron decoration. expect a little shrinkage with any piece of clothing with cotton in it.
