Independent Trading Company sweatshirt, in color black, with an appliqué linen quilt patch. The quilt is a checkerboard pattern, made with white and ochre yellow linene. it is reverse appliqued onto the sweatshirt into a daisy shape. Reverse applique means that it was sewn onto the sweatshirt from inside, and then the sweatshirt was cut out to reveal the patch design. So the edge that is cut out from the sweatshirt is a raw edge.

CARE: basically, the less washing, heat & agitation you use, the longer the stamped portion will remain its starkest. though it is permanent fabric ink, it may fade slightly overtime - as with any painted or screenprinted items. machine wash inside out, with like colors, avoid high heat. I would recommend color catching sheets so that the quilt piece doesnt absorb colors into the white. hang dry recommended, or tumble dry low heat if you must. do not iron decoration. expect a little shrinkage with any piece of clothing with cotton in it.
