This little folk floral trout began as a sketch, which was transferred onto a rubber block, hand carved, and then inked and printed by hand.
The color palette was carefully curated to enhance this composition. Black ink pops against a roses- clay colored handmade paper, with beautifully deckled edges. This paper is slightly more peachy than the rose colored paper of my butterfly print, peonies, or cowboy boot prints. While supplies last, I have a limited amount of other colored papers for this print: clay blush, Forrest green, and Marigold yellow.
Due to the handprinted nature, each piece is an original. Slight variations may occur, adding to the charm of block printed pieces. Paper is purchased from another small business, and can all come slightly different as well, with each their own imperfections & charm.
The artwork comes unframed and safely packaged in a sleeve.
